USITC to investigate Apple’s complaint against HTC

US International Trade Commission has confirmed to review Apple’s patent infringement complaint against HTC. ITC will investigate Apple’s complaint filed on July 8 that claimed HTC to infringe five patents related to software architecture and user interface. Apple has demanded a ban on the infringing products.
Just like all ITC reviews, the case will be assigned to the administrative law judge who’ll give an initial determination. Commission will then scrutinize to see if HTC is liable or not.
