Skype has updated the Mac version of their VoIP app. The Skype 5.3 for Mac OS X supports Apple’s new Lion OS and is also backward compatible with Mac OSes till Leopard. In addition to the OS support, the app sports number of fixes and improvements like the HD video calling support. A user will now be able to call their family and friends in HD quality, provided a user has the Mac’s built-in webcam or any third-party HD-enabled camera and a minimum internet speed of 1.5Mbps.
