Galaxy S II announced for India, releasing on June 3 on Vodafone for under 33k

Today is a great day for mobile lovers in India. First iPhone 4 made its official entry to one of world’s largest telecom market and now Samsung has announced availability of its Galaxy S II device. Samsung’s power packed Android device will be available for Rs.32,890 from next month or you can pre-book the device by paying Rs.1,000 now.

Vodafone has grabbed an exclusive sale period, which means Vodafone customers will get the phone a week early before the phone retails nationwide from June 9. Also, Galaxy S II owners on Vodafone will get 1GB data for a month.

Just to rehash, Galaxy S II runs on Android 2.3.3 with Samsung’s customized TouchWiz UI 4.0 and features a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, 8MP main camera, 2MP front-facing camera, full HD playback and recording, NFC, 16GB internal memory, microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS and access to various Hubs like Social Hub, Games Hub etc.
