Google just announced the next version of Android OS dubbed as Ice cream Sandwich. Slated to release on Q4 of this year, Ice Cream Sandwich will be available on smartphones and tablets. Google touts Ice Cream Sandwich as “One OS everywhere” that will have state of the art UI, advanced app framework and expectedly, open source.

Some of the new features that will come in Ice Cream Sandwich are resizable status bar, face-tracking camera, camera focus as per voice recognition etc.
