Nokia to cut 4,000 jobs, will transfer 3,000 employees to Accenture

In what could be one of the biggest decisions for Nokia after the Microsoft partnership, Nokia will cut loose about 4,000 employees worldwide. The personnel reduction will be completed by end of 2012 and will also reduce the workforce in Nokia’s home country by 1,400 employees.
Another astonishing move is to transfer about 3,000 employees working on Symbian to Accenture “to support the continued delivery of Symbian software development and support services.”
