Google schedules an Android event on Feb 2

Looks like Google’s announcement for the Honeycomb SDK was just the start. Google has now scheduled a new Android event for Feb 2 that will give journalists an “in-depth look at Honeycomb, Android ecosystem news and hands-on demos.” There’s expectedly no other details to go with the invite but if there is any indication, we could see a Honeycomb-powered smartphone or even a reference (Nexus?) tablet.
For people like us sitting miles away from the press conference, Google will stream the event live on YouTube at the link below.
