Move over Dakota, Curve and Torch 2 as we’ve got one more Blackberry candidate revealing itself. It’s the Blackberry Storm 3 that will be upgraded this year with some meaty specs. BGR again got their mitts on the detailed info that confirms Storm 3 will have the highest screen resolution found on a BB device. It will have a 3.7-inch capacitive display with WVGA resolution.

As for the remaining specs, the phone will have a speedy 1.2GHz CPU running BB OS 6.1 with OpenGL ES support, quad-band GSM, tri-band HSPA, 5MP camera with 720p HD recording, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 512MB RAM, 8GB internal storage, optical trackpad and 1230mAh battery.

The phone is rumored to go official sometime in September.
