Uncharted has been a very important franchise for Sony’s PS3 console and good news for Uncharted fans is that the third part in the series has been announced. Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception takes Nathan Drake to the desert in search of Atlantis of the Sands.

Developers of the game, Naughty Dog have promised to take advantage of the game’s advanced physics and visual effects and will concentrate on co-op multiplayer. Another addition to the game is the support for high-resolution 3D.

The game is expected to be released in Fall 2011.
