Add another big publication to the iPhone for Verizon list. This time it’s Fortune who does not mention any source but claims that the iPhone on Verizon is expected early next year. How early is still a mystery but if our guess is correct, the first unveiling could be in early January at the CES where Verizon’s CEO will address a keynote.

Fortune’s article also sheds some other details on the device. Apparently, the iPhone for Verizon will support only CDMA band and won’t work outside the United States.
