Galaxy Tab for Verizon

Verizon Wireless is the first US carrier to declare the pricing of Samsung’s highly anticipated tablet. The Galaxy Tab on the big red will go for a pricey $600 and will be available from November 11. It’s the first Android-based tablet from Samsung that runs Android 2.2 OS (Froyo), 1GHz CPU, 7-inch WSVGA display, 3MP rear camera with 1.3MP main camera, WI-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G, GPS, microSD card slot and 4000mAh battery.

However, unlike the international version, this Galaxy Tab is devoid of voice calling functionality.
