Dell’s Greater China President Amit Midha has confirmed in an interview that Dell will launch additional tablet devices to cash in on the burgeoning tablet market. According to him, a 7-inch tablet is due within next few weeks while a 10-inch version will be unveiled in the next 6-12 months, along with 3-inch and 4-inch models.

“It was showed off at Oracle World by Michael last week and we’ll be launching very, very soon – within the next few weeks.”

Additionally, Mitha also confirmed that the 7-inch tablet will run Android OS but other products could run Windows OS and are even contemplating to use Google Chrome OS.
