Sony today announced that they’ll launch an India-specific PlayStation store by end of this month. This move is to accommodate PS3’s 3D capabilities and allow gamers to download 3D games directly from the store.
The PS3 is already 3D-enabled with the v3.30 firmware and with the roll out of a PlayStation Store specifically for India, Indian PS3 users will be able to download Wipeout HD, Super Stardust, PAIN and an exclusive level of MotorStorm Pacific Rift.
Sony has also confirmed that 3D Blu-ray movie support will come later this year via a firmware update.
