Apple’s latest beta of iOS 4.1 confirms that FaceTime will come to non-iPhone devices like iPod touch and iPad. The build which was seeded to developers, has an option under “Contacts” to initiate a FaceTime video call via a phone number – used by iPhone 4 – or an email that will be used for devices without cellular connectivity.

This FaceTime feature was revealed last month when BGR posted some screenshots of the FaceTime activation menu.
