Galaxy Tab

The image of Samsung’s upcoming tablet that was leaked couple of weeks back didn’t reveal anything substantial. It was called as Galaxy Tab and claimed to have a 7-inch TFT LCD with 3.5mm headphone jack.

Now, some new info has surfaced that not only reveals its purported specs but also claims that the tablet will be known as Galaxy Tape.

The rumored release is in September and the Tape will have an ARM Cortex-A8 based CPU running at 1.2GHz, 7-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display, Android 2.2 Froyo, 16GB internal memory with microSD slot (up to 32GB), weigh 370g and will have a battery rated at 4000mAh.

Additionally, Samsung is also said to be working with ebook content providers for its ebook reader software.
