Yahoo is holding a press conference on May 24 in New York. While the details regarding the announcement is pretty light, AllThingsD seem to have got the intrinsic details of the announcement.

Apparently, Yahoo will announce their “Project Nike” partnership with Nokia that will allow the Finnish phone maker to pre-install email, search and other applications from Yahoo in future Nokia devices.

The site’s source tells that both companies even contemplated to create a Yahoo-centric phone but “is unlikely to be part of this deal”.

Last month, Yahoo also signed a deal with Samsung to pre-install Yahoo services in Samsung’s upcoming devices.
