Rumor: Acer to unveil its Chrome netbook at Computex

Acer Chrome OS

 

We do know that Acer wants to be the first vendor to offer a Chrome netbook and the first steps towards their goal will be realized at the Computex expo starting early next month. Venture Beat has heard from multiple Taiwanese sources that “Acer will launch Chrome OS devices at the Computex Taipei show”.

Other details are slim right now but the previous rumors have suggested the netbook will retail in Q3 2010, soon after the official launch of the Chrome OS.
