HTC has announced Legend Android phone for the Indian market. Taking the helm from Hero, Legend too sports a similar chin design but comes in an attractive unibody chassis that is carved from a single aluminum block. The HTC Legend is powered by a Qualcomm 600MHz processor and runs Android’s latest Éclair 2.1 OS, features 3.2-inch OLED HVGA capacitive touchscreen and has the acclaimed Sense UI to bring social networking, conversations, contacts all under one roof.

Additionally, the phone has a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, 512/384MB ROM/RAM, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, microSD card slot and an optical joystick.

Legend will be available for Rs. 25,990 across the country.
