So Apple has reacted to iPhone frenzy released by Gizmodo yesterday. The iPhone which was shot from every angle possible and will mostly take place as the next iPhone has been demanded by Apple. The official letter says Gizmodo is in possession of the iPhone and they want it back.

“It has come to our attention that GIZMODO is current in possession of a device that belongs to Apple. This letter constitutes a formal request that you return the device to Apple. Please let us know where to pick up the unit.”

Needless to say, this reaction from Apple has confirmed doubts of many about the phone’s authenticity but another thing to note here is that they haven’t acknowledged it as the iPhone. The formal request refers the iPhone as the “device that belongs to Apple”.

  1. Nice new spin on PR’n the new iPhone from Apple. I think it’s all of Apple’s plan. Anyone want to take a shot at what Steve Jobs might say?
