HTC today announced Smart, its first feature phone for India. Smart is HTC’s attempt to give user a smartphone experience at an affordable price. It runs on a non-smartphone platform by Qualcomm known as Brew and features a 300MHz CPU, 256MB RAM/ROM, HTC Sense UI, FM Radio, 2.8-inch touchscreen display with QVGA resolution, 3G and quad-band GSM connectivity, 3MP camera, microSD card slot, Bluetooth and 3.5mm headphone jack.

HTC will sell the device for Rs. 9,990 and has roped in Airtel to sell the device in their stores and also give exclusive offer for data and content with the phone.
