Nokia debuts C5 candybar phone from CSeries

Nokia today announced the very first phone from its CSeries. Dubbed as C5, the phone won’t make you want it in the first instance but could prove a good buy for consumers looking for a smartphone at cheap price.

The phone has a 2.2-inch display, a 3.2MP camera, FM Radio, 3.5mm AV jack, microSD slot, Stereo IHF speaker, a quick access bar on the home screen and a talk time of up to 12 hours.

Interestingly, the phone also has GPS and supports Nokia’s Ovi Maps with Free Navigation making it one of the cheapest GPS devices around.

The phone’s expected to reach globally in Q2 2010 at a price of 135 euros (about $180) before taxes and subsidies.
