Nexus One’s OLED screen not as spectacular as one thought

OLED screens are touted as vibrant and detailed. However, this doesn’t seem to be the case with Nexus One whose been undergoing an in-depth display test carried out by the folks at DisplayMate technologies and DisplayBlog. The researchers pit the Nexus One display against iPhone 3GS’ LCD and surprisingly, it’s the LCD that is currently leading.
DisplayMate will be carrying a series of tests, so you might want to check the detailed results every now and then. For now here are the results from the first test.
