Mitsubishi’s latest tech will help you to make the full HD content look more in-depth and detailed. This unnamed technology helps to upscale 1080p content to higher resolution of 4K x 2K. However, despite it being able to churn a larger than the current 1080 resolution, the technology does not support Blu-ray upscaling. It only supports HDMI 1.4.

Mitsubishi is planning to integrate this technology in future 4K x 2K TVs to attract buyers to go for these sets instead of full HD ones.
