Acer has recalled about 22,000 notebooks in the United States that poses a potential burn hazard to consumers. This recall is the same that Acer did in October. The models affected are AS3410, AS3410T, AS3810T, AS3810TG, AS3810TZ and AS3810TZG where the notebooks’ microphone wire under the palm rest short circuit and can cause some harm. However, no incidents have been reported yet.

Users using the affected models should contact Acer immediately to see if their laptop’s serial number is included in the recall.
