HTC HD2 will get WM7 upgrade

Windows Mobile 7 is still months away but here’s some good news for folks using HD2. A tweet (now deleted) from HTC Russia confirms that HD2 will be the only device to receive a WinMo 7 upgrade. This is totally understandable as HD2 is the most advanced piece of hardware from HTC and has enough horsepower to carry out functions of WinMo 7 smoothly and effectively. Unfortunately, there’s no word about the release but previous WinMo 7 rumors suggest that it could be in middle of 2010.
