CrunchPad becomes the Joo Joo, pre-orders begin from Dec 11

Fusion Garage’s CEO, Chandra Rathakrishnan today offered his side of story and alongside launched the device, renamed as Joo Joo (it’s funny and weird!). Chandra claimed that TechCrunch was not involved in any of the Joo Joo’s (then CrunchPad) software or hardware development and will fight in the court if any lawsuit is filed.
Regarding the device, the 1.1kg Joo Joo features a 12.1-inch capacitive touchscreen, 4GB SSD, USB port, mic/headphone-in, graphics processor enough to pull a full HD video, Wi-Fi and a 5 hour battery life.
The Joo Joo has been priced at $499 with pre-orders starting from this Friday, December 11.
