Nokia rolls out 5330 Mobile TV Edition

Nokia estimates over 300 million people will watch live TV on-the-go by 2012 and to cater to them they’ve unveiled an affordable 5330 Mobile TV Edition. 5330 MTE keeps all the features from its XpressMusic avatar but adds DVB-H to allow users enjoy live television.
In addition to the TV viewing capability, it features a 2.4-inch QVGA display, dedicated music keys, support for Ovi services, 3.2MP camera, microSD card slot and 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Nokia 5330 Mobile TV Edition will sell for 155 Euros (US$230) excluding taxes and subsidies.

although i like this phone, for some reason i dounbt the market for mobile phones will be ‘over 300 mln’ in a couple of years as nokia predicts. the screen is tiny, and i’m not sure the reception will be perfect in less developed countries (where it is being introduced during the first phase). plus, if people want to watch football matches and movies, nothing beats the big screen
