Mac OS X update will kill support for Atom CPUs, hackintoshed netbooks

Hackintoshing or installing the Mac OS X is the best you can do on your otherwise bland netbook. However, this will come to an end once Apple releases 10.6.2 update for its Mac OS. The latest update apparently removes support for Atom processors, which is instrumental for the OS to detect and then install.
Apple might be doing this to ward off OS piracy but there’s a speculation that it might be done because of an incoming Mac netbook. Take it as you want but for hackintoshers, this could mark an end to the thriving scene – unless hackintosh user uses Mac OS X up to 10.6.1 or some mastermind comes out with a workaround.
