Xbox 360 has been touting its Netflix compatibility for quite some time but unfortunately, their rocking exclusivity is about to end. Sony and Netflix have entered into an agreement that will make Netflix video streaming possible on PS3 consoles. The Netflix streaming is expected to begin by next month at no extra cost. Users only need to pay $8.99/month for the Netflix membership and can receive instant movie and TV episodes streaming right on the PS3 as well as DVDs by mail.

Interested users can pre-register now to reserve a free disc that will enable Netflix on PS3.
