Well, there’s nothing much to read in here but consumers waiting for an Asus branded Android phone won’t have to wait longer. At a local media briefing in Taiwan, Asus’ chairman confirmed that the Android smartphone will be announced this year without revealing any other details. It is also unclear whether Asus will market it under its own name or get Garmin in the action too.
