Looks like Nintendo will lay all Wii price cut rumors to rest by announcing the cut this Friday. According to this screenshot, the new $199.99 price will be effective from Sep 27 while Nintendo’s expected to make the move official on Sep 25. This move will finally help Nintendo to evade competitor’s cheaper consoles and bolster Wii sales. Global price cut is expected to be effective on the same day.
