Opera today launched a beta version of its most used mobile browser. The fifth iteration of Opera Mini brings in a lot of new features that tries to make your mobile internet browsing at par with desktop browsing, if not similar. The Mini browser is fast because of its compression technology but the new Mini 5 boasts some new features like new the UI (which by the way is good), tabbed browsing, Speed Dial and Password Manager. It’s a beta so you cannot use the Opera Link (Opera’s sync tool) right now but I assume Link will be integrated when the final build comes out.

Give the Mini 5 beta a try by pointing your mobile’s web browser to this (http://m.opera.com/next).
