Deutsche Telekom and France Telecom have entered into an exclusive agreement to combine their T-Mobile UK and Orange UK in a 50:50 joint venture company. This venture will make them UK’s leading mobile operator that will have about 37 percent market share with around 28.4m subscribers.

As for consumer advantages are concerned, the new joint venture promises to bring expanded network coverage, improved customer services, enhanced 2G and 3G services and more.
