Whatever the reason is, UK people are in luck if they’re deciding to pick Microsoft’s Windows 7 OS. The Windows 7 Home Premium retail version will sell for around £65, which is almost 50 percent less than the same retail version being sold in US. Amazon UK and Play are already taking pre-orders ranging from £65-£75, which also includes free shipping.

Couple of months back, Microsoft had acknowledged a similar pricing pattern for Windows 7 Home Premium and Professional for India but did not divulge the exact price.
