E-tailers list PS3 Slim at $300, takes pre-orders

The official announcement is still a few hours away but it seems e-tailers are already jumping to cash in the imminent announcement. Kmart has an ad on its website telling “The rumors are reality” and Sears too has got its pre-order page up. Both the sites are listing the console for same $299.99 with the purported release date set at August 24. Sears has also got some specs to go with the listing – 120GB HDD, HDMI for 1080p output, Blu-ray and DualShock3 controller.
