T-Mobile’s version of Magic, the myTouch 3G will start selling at retail stores from today. And to commemorate its arrival, T-Mobile has planned big things, like launching an aerial spectacle over San Francisco where 100 skydivers will be dressed differently to portray different personalities like the phone.

T-Mobile’s personalization of myTouch 3G will come by the way of apps that a user can install to add a personal touch. Initially, they’ll be offering an AppPack consisting of apps that will allow users to customize phonebook, streaming music according to one’s tastes and an app following users likes and dislikes through behavior and user feedback.

myTouch 3G will be available in black, white and merlot for $199.99 with a two-year contract.
