Sony Vaio NW

Mike Abary of Sony confirmed to LaptopMag that touch enabled VAIO PCs are on its way. The PCs will take advantage of Windows 7’s touch friendliness and will be launched sometime around the OS’ launch. However, it is not clear if Sony will launch touchscreen VAIOs under the desktop or the notebook line.

Abary also confirmed about the possible integration of PlayStation Network to Vaio PCs. Since the new organizational structure, Vaio and other Sony brands fall under the same group and Sony will try to cash on it by providing a tight integration. The initial PSN content for VAIO will feature more of movies and TV shows but Sony is also planning for casual games.
