Windows 7 E pre-orders begin in Europe

Europeans wanting to snag Windows 7 early and at a cheap price can do so now as Microsoft has started pre-ordering the OS. Remember, Microsoft will be selling Windows 7 E Editions that won’t bundle the Internet Explorer with it. You can go to your region specific Microsoft site for more details.
For Britons, there are many e-tailers taking up pre-orders but if you’re buying from Amazon, you can get the Windows 7 E Home Premium copy for £44.97 and Professional E for £89.97, originally valued at £149.99 and £219.99 respectively.
