Rumor: PS3 firmware 3.0 will pack a lot of features

Despite the fact that SCEA has already turned down this rumor, the features mentioned are highly plausible since its an iconic point zero (x.0) update. VG247 got the meaty details who claim that the PS3 firmware 3.0 will be a completely new system akin to Xbox 360’s NXE. The new features that will be included are the reputation system that will allow users to evaluate each other and even obtain other’s reputation, grief reporting system to submit offensive players to Sony, background downloading and concurrent audio output via HDMI and digital optical.
