HTC India confirms Android phone but not sure when

This has got to be the vaguest of statements. Ajay Sharma, Country Head of HTC India told ET they want to launch an Android phone but don’t know when it will be possible.
“We will be launching the Android. When is the question but sooner the better.”
Though he does not give a proper timeframe we do believe it will happen this
year, presumably before the launch of iPhone 3G S in August. G2 aka Magic will likely be the first device.
