Legitimate Mac owners are obviously elated with yesterday’s 10.5.7 update but there are other bunch of people who feel the same. Yup, it’s the hackintosh users who run Mac OS on netbooks. Apparently, the new update is being blessed by users as they are reporting an improvement in netbook’s battery life. One user’s netbook battery life seems to have gained 33 percent, more from 3.45hrs to over 5 hours on his 6-cell 4400mAh battery. Another user also reported an extra hour of battery life from the previous 3.30hrs gig.

The topic isn’t populated with replies, so its difficult to confirm this. However, you can give it a try if you use a hackintoshed netbook. Do let us know if you get lucky like these chaps.
