Asus U6V Bamboo notebook now available in India

Asus has launched its eco friendly notebook that boasts a chassis made out of Bamboo. Being one of the natural resources that grows fast, needs no replanting and is sturdy as metal, Asus deemed it as the apt material to please the environmentalists. The notebook is also equipped with Asus’ Super Hybrid Engine making it more power efficient.
On the specs front, a user gets a Core 2 Duo P8600 processor, Windows Vista Home Premium OS, GeForce 9300GS GPU, up to 4GB RAM, up to 320GB HDD, optical drive, card reader, 1.3MP webcam and optional fingerprint module.
The greenness does not come cheap though. It sells for Rs. 1,10,000 ($2200).

I absolutely LOVE this computer! It is so sleek and stylish! It really makes me wonder where technology is headed in the future!!! I can’t wait to find out!
