Sony might finally cut PS3’s price. CVG has learned from a major UK retailer that they have been notified by Sony about the imminent price cut. However, the exact date is still a secret because Sony does not want to hamper current sales by announcing the date. The rumored price is $300.

Another piece of PS3 news claims that Sony might release a new PS3 SKU that will be bundled along with two games – MotorStorm and Resistance: Fall of Man. The bundle is expected to retail at $399, which is the price of a low-end PS3. So in reality, there won’t be any price cut but a better value for money.

Let’s wait and see what strategy Sony adopts. I’m in for both.
