According to fresh reports, the Eee PC makers are looking for a possible amalgamation between its netbook and notebook departments. Nothing is confirmed as yet, but it is rumored that the plan details are being scrutinized and are sent out to the department heads.

From a managerial perspective, Asus could expect an increase in productivity while keeping the costs at minimum. For us, the consumers, this wouldn’t affect much because notebooks that are currently sold under the Asus brand, maybe retagged under Eee PC in the future.
