Symbian Foundation is yet to start its operations but the open source Symbian OS is already getting some attention. Last week 14 companies including HP, MySpace joined the foundation and according to Executive Director, Lee Williams by the end of the year, around 400 to 700 members are expected join the foundation. That’s a big ask, but you never know as Symbian OS has the highest penetration in the mobile phone market.
