Apple released v2.2.1 firmware for the iPhone and iPhone 3G. The update seems to be minor one with a few improvements and fixes. It is said to improve stability of Safari and fixe some image issues saved from Mail.

The update is available via iTunes.

This update contains bug fixes and improvements, including the following:
- Improved general stability of Safari
- Fixed issue where some images saved from Mail do not display correctly in the Camera Roll
