Nikkei: Nintendo preparing DS with camera, music player

The biggest rumor to hit this weekend was Nikkei’s claim that Nintendo will reveal the latest avatar of the DS by the end of this year. The new DS is a result of the stiff competition faced by its compatriot PSP which is managing to sell more than DS in the last five months. Updated DS is expected to sport an integrated camera, better wireless capabilities and a music player with a price quoted less than 20,000 Yen ($189).
Nintendo hasn’t denied nor confirmed the report but it wouldn’t be surprising even this turns out to be true.
