Who said Beer can be used only for boozing. They will now be used to generate energy. Researchers at Australia University are working to generate electricity from brewery waste water & some bacteria. To accomplish this task, they have also roped in Australian brewery manufacturer, Foster’s.

A waste-water expert explained that the fuel cell is a battery in which bacteria consume water soluble brewing waste to produce electricity and clean water.
