Dell Latitude D420

Dell has joined the bandwagon and will now offer SSDs instead of HDDs for the corporates. As an initial step, SSDs will be available in capacity of 32GB and only in Latitude D420 and D620 notebooks. SanDisk will be manufacturing the SSDs.

As we know that SSDs are better than HDDs because it is based on flash memory instead of rotating discs. They are faster, consume less power, more silent but are a bit expensive. Thus to own a SSD-based Dell notebook, you will have to shell $549 more.
