Samsung Electronics have developed a 2.1″ LCD screen which adjusts its brightness accordingly to different lighting conditions making the text on the screen more readable. This screen is less than a millimeter thick, uses the Adaptive Brightness Control (ABC) and consumes 20-30% less power than its counterparts.

Samsung reckons that the ABC technology would make the device more slimmer, save costs and prove beneficial on part of the users. Mass production of this screen will take place in the second half of this year.
