Presenting the iPhone, not from Apple

How many times have we referred to iPhone as an Apple product? Many times. Infact, the whole blogosphere voiced the same thing apart from this statement made by Kevin Rose. Anyways the real legit iPhone is from Linksys. Its a product line of VoIP products offered by them under the name iPhone (Internet Phone). Market analysts reckon that this could be detrimental to Apple’s interests because people have associated “i” with Apple products. But on the other hand, we say that Apple is smart and have never mentioned about their phone called as iPhone. It is the blogs and mainstream media which picked up the name and coined it for Apple. Nonetheless, Linksys is now enjoying the benefits of the hype created because of the word ‘iPhone’.
